About Kathleen Massini
I've spent over eighteen years doing work I love — designing brands, campaigns, publications, and experiences that connect with people and get results. My career has taken me from advertising agencies in New York and Colorado to in-house senior design roles to running my own studio, Massini Design, where I've built long-term relationships with clients across a wide range of industries.
My agency background includes art direction on the OtterBox account at Burns Marketing, and pharmaceutical campaigns for Pfizer and Bristol-Myers Squibb at BGB New York. In-house, I spent years as a Senior Graphic Designer at Hunter Douglas, developing product sample books, consumer brochures, event materials, and brand systems at scale. As a freelancer, I've partnered with clients including WeightWatchers/WW, Atlantis Resort, ASID Colorado, and numerous nonprofits and community organizations.
I'm equally at home in a fast-moving agency environment and working independently — concept to production, print to digital, solo
or collaboratively. I take brand standards seriously, bring strong typography and layout instincts to every project, and genuinely enjoy the problem-solving that good design requires.

My software home is Adobe Creative Suite — InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop have been central to my practice for decades —
and I have working experience in Figma, After Effects, and Canva. I bring deep print production expertise, including prepress, CMYK workflows, PDF preparation, and vendor management.

When I'm not designing, you'll find me in the mountains, at a gallery, or perfecting a sourdough loaf.
